The Religious Culture of India : Power, Love and Wisdom
Published in Hardcover by Cambridge University Press (August, 1994)
Average review score:

Very good but marred by its own OrientalismsHardy decries Orientalist attitudes but, nevertheless, uses the Aryan invasion model to explain the nature of Indian religious culture. Hardy is obviously not familiar with the recent archaeological findings in the field which assert that the cultural development in India is indigenous. In fact the Harappan iconography provides us scenes of the Goddess slaying the buffalo-demon, etc. It is a pity that the Sanskritists have not kept pace with findings in archaeology and history of science.

Average review score:

Undercover again."Rigged for Revenge" is your standard Hardy Boys book. Plenty of action, and a touch of education. Good book for kids.

Rock N Roll Renegades (Hardy Boys Mystery Stories, 116)
Published in Paperback by Minstrel Books (October, 1992)
Average review score:

Joltin' Joe Hardy!Trouble begins when Joe becomes a DJ. A pirate broadcaster jams the station's signal, threatening to shut it down. This is about an average Hardy Boys book. It's good for kids, and has lots of action.

Sabotage at Sea (The Hardy Boys Casefiles, No 92)
Published in Paperback by Simon Pulse (October, 1994)
Average review score:

Another average hardy boys book.Sabotage at sea is enjoyable, with fast-paced action and mystery. I recommend this for any fan of the series. But if you haven't read any Hardy Boys books, I suggest starting with the first book of the series.

Scene of the Crime (Hardy Boys Casefiles, No 24)
Published in Paperback by Simon Pulse (October, 1989)
Average review score:

I think this is the book...I'm pretty sure this is the right book, but I'm not positive. If I'm correct, this is the Hardy Boys book, but the absence of an author takes away my confidence. In the Hardy Boys book "Scene of the Crime", the Hardys go undercover to investigate a series of accidents and discover sabotage. I suggest this for any Hardy Boys fan.

Shield of Fear (Hardy Boys Mystery Stories Number 91)
Published in Paperback by Minstrel Books (July, 1988)
Average review score:

Regular Hardy Boys. This is just your average Hardy Boys mystery. This time they go undercover as cadets in a police academy.

Toxic Revenge (The Hardy Boys Casefiles, No 83)
Published in Paperback by Simon Pulse (January, 1994)
Average review score:

A mystery of murder and sabotage. This is an averaga Hardy Boys book: a recycling campaign, dead security guards, and plenty of fast-paced action. This is a good book for kids.

Training for Trouble (The Hardy Boys #161)
Published in Library Binding by Bt Bound (September, 2000)
Average review score:

okay, not very excitingi've always loved the hardy boys books but these newer ones are not very good. there really isn't much mystery or action left in them. i was also a little surprised to see that they brought iola back into them, she died in the casefiles, why bring her back? i've been disappointed lately at how downhill the books have gone, same as the nancy drew series. i think from now on i'll stick to the older books and actually read something entertaining

Virtual Villainy (The Hardy Boys Casefiles, No 86)
Published in Paperback by Simon Pulse (April, 1994)
Average review score:

Fun Light Hardy Boys in Cyberspace AdventureThe Hardy Boys go into cyberspace in this adventure, which puts them at odds with an evil high-tech corporation. The CaseFiles are a little more modern than the classic Hardy Boys books, but that's not always a bad thing. I enjoyed this book -- not a bad read for a lazy weekend.

A Will to Survive: Hardy Boys #156
Published in Paperback by Aladdin Library (01 May, 1999)
Average review score:

Good, but do not recommendA certain type of hardy boys series are very good, but not this one. The story is too formal that it cannot make any interests from this story. You can only read some typical stoies of old detective stories, but the detective story maniac can read this for entertaining.
